Hopes to get back to home

“Malai baini sanga kura garaideu, lina auchin”

She rants and crunches herself

Hopes raising with the morning sunshine

She beholds herself against the wall

waits as the time scrutinises the wide spread illuminations

The light deems as her hopes deems

Gradually her wait is over

And the darkness realises that she is not coming

Her beloved sister, the only hope to her darkness

The darkness of cruelty in all the family

None of them could enlighten her pain

The sister in the busy world of hers

The early marriage responsibility

Yet her compassion for her sister doesn’t fade

She picked her up from the dirt of the family ground

Got her a secure shelter to breathe

A mental illness to heal, she let her sister in

15years into this gate of healing

Her time was scarcely passing

The sister couldn’t unlock the gate forever

But unlocked some seconds of happiness

Showing up to the loneliness of the darkest morning

She rose the brightest sunshine in her sister’s day

“Meri bahini aakin ni” she gave her hugest innocent smile

I enlightened with her joy

She wasn’t getting to go out of her mental state

But that one presence of her sister

Made her connected to her compassion again

A dedicated smile every time

She hides her pain behind yet starks herself away from everyone

She stays alone most of the time.

But holds a light that is brightnest confined in the corner

I had a beautiful time communicating with her
